Toe in the WaterIt's time for me to dip my toe back into the water. My life isn't completely back to normal yet, but it's getting there. The major current deviation from normality is that I have a 20-year-old girl living with me. And you, dear reader, have a very naughty mind! She's a relative and it's only temporary while she's getting settled in Portland. (But I agree, it's a pity that your immediate suspicions were wrong.) I must have some Portland-area readers who could tell us something about having fun in the area. What's fun for an out-of-towner to do when it's overcast and drizzling?

Duh! Bowling! :-)
...you can bowl anywhere... :(, but you can only get a real life experience of:
The Eiffel Tower in Paris
Mount Rushmore in South Dakota
The Amanas in Iowa
The Element in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
The Great Wall in China
The Pyramids in Egypt
The Sears Tower in Chicago
Tailgating before a Hawkeye game in Iowa City, Iowa
The Alamo in Texas
The Everglades in Florida
As the big sister of the 20-year-old-girl I have to say that the thought of that is just plain WRONG, HORRIBLE, GROSS, etc. It would be that way even if Kyle wasn't our cousin....For those of you guys looking her way out there in Portland u best start looking straight ahead and keep on a walking! :)
I collect spores, mold, and fungus.
